All Port-A-Cool® models perform at the highest efficiency levels anywhere in the world, even in areas where high humidity is common. This high efficiency is due to the unit design, the high quality and efficiency levels of the KÜÜL® cooling pads on all Port-A-Cool® models and the adjustment controls for the amount of water introduced to the cooling pads which causes the cooling to occur. However, in some areas of the United States and the world there are consistently high levels of humidity that may affect the cooling of your Port-A-Cool® evaporative cooling unit(s).

Placing a dehumidifier behind your Port-A-Cool® unit will improve the quality and efficiency of the evaporative cooling process while still saving you cost. These portable dehumidifiers are useful in areas of the country where high humidity levels are consistently present and the efficiency of evaporative cooling systems such as Port-A-Cool® may be affected or restrictive. They are portable, easy to move and are second to none in quality, dependability, cost and efficiency.

By placing one or more (depending on your individual application and the amount of space) of these units in the area where you are cooling, you actually turn your facility itself into a self contained cooling system! Since the most effective evaporative cooling depends on quick evaporation, these dehumidifiers will cause the evaporation to occur much faster causing maximum cooling while eliminating excess moisture from the target area being cooled.
